Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and Google recommends applying early, while response times can run 90+ days. Stripe posted a Software Engineer role for new grads on its University team, alongside Software Engineer Intern (Summer or Winter) roles across five locations: Toronto, New York, Seattle, South San Francisco HQ, and Dublin HQ. If you already applied to the pre-release link on zero2sudo’s account, you are good to go and do not need to re-apply. Stripe releases OAs and interviews in waves, so you may need to wait until January.

Microsoft posted Software Engineer Intern Opportunities for University Students under its CoreAI team in new locations. The first drop was for Redmond, WA, and some Direct Consideration community members report being able to apply to these roles even if they were previously rejected.

One report said Google SWE has an easy OA followed by two technical interviews with no behavioral round, both LeetCode medium. The candidate received a guaranteed offer through Direct Consideration, signed the offer letter first, and was later matched to a team/project with updated location and compensation details. Not every offer comes with a guaranteed project, however. Many of our community members still have to go through team matching. It is unclear what the criteria for a guaranteed project is.

JPMorgan applications are still under review, and decisions are ongoing. Candidates were invited to virtual office hours sessions across three dates in September to ask questions about their applications.

Some candidates reported consecutive Microsoft rejections, while others described mixed outcomes such as receiving an OA for one application while getting rejected from others. One candidate reported getting rejected from all applications in the first wave, but getting a screen from the most recent Microsoft openings. Microsoft will be reopening internships once per month until all reqs are filled, and several historical internship locations have yet to fill.

September 1 marks the start of the main 2027 recruiting wave, with several large internship openings expected in the coming days. Dropbox's SWE internship was confirmed to open September 7 and is currently LIVE on zero2sudo’s Instagram story.

Google's Student Researcher role (BS/MS, Fall 2026) is open in Mountain View, CA (and 18 additional locations), with an application window running until November 27, 2026. This interview process is very long and drawn out, and not everyone is guaranteed to match with a project host.

Google's Associate Product Manager and Intern APM applications are set to open on September 22 and close on October 6.

NVIDIA Ignite, the internship pipeline for freshmen and sophomores, is expected to release in early October and stay live for about two weeks.

The 5th Annual Cornell Trading Competition and Quant Career Fair are happening October 24, 2026, at Cornell Tech in NYC. Experience isn’t necessary, and they’re accepting teams with members from different schools. For non-local competitors, the competition is offering paid travel for USA and Canada students (up to a limited amount).

Two candidates who interviewed for Google's PM Internship last cycle described a similar Round 1 of roughly 20 minutes of resume questions followed by a product-sense exercise. One added advice to stay engaged with the interviewer and ask clarifying questions, since the questions are open-ended. Keep in mind this reflects last cycle's process rather than confirmed 2027 details, though the structure is still a useful reference point.

One candidate preparing for Google's New Grad SWE interview shared official prep materials describing the process across several dimensions, including Coding/Data Structures & Algorithms, Googleyness & Leadership, Communication & Problem-Solving, and AI Fluency. But LeetCode-style coding questions remain the most common format, with follow-ups and occasional class design problems.

A second candidate received a guaranteed offer through the same pattern seen in an earlier Google SWE report: a cold application with no referral, an easy OA, two LeetCode medium interviews, and no behavioral component at all. Multiple candidates have now emphasized applying as soon as possible rather than waiting on a referral.
